The Reto Duro is getting more attempts. I was out running with a friend, and saw a rather large support team cheering on an attempt. Nice one Susan!
The yellow flowers bloomed in front of 12 Paseo Del Mar today. The Monkeys swooped in and seemingly could not stop eating them. This little tribe of howlers was there snacking until they could not do anything but take a nap. Later on in the day, they woke up from the nap and kept after it. Gave ...
We spent a long while hiking around today. Charles had the foresight to bring along an umbrella for the sun. I was jealous. It was a way better idea than my floppy hat.
We have some cloud cover coming in today, but still have some good sunsets. Finding a little space of your own enhances the enjoyment.
PVR has a new coffee machine. These guys have it dialed in proper. Jake personally consulted on the new roast, and sourced the new machine. Just when I thought they could not offer a better cup, they did it. The best reason to go, remains checking in with the crew there.
Some people have to wait a long time to know the Pacific. It is always fun to see others experience it at a much younger age.
Langostas.
We ended up with a little rain last night. It started around 7PM with a few drops, and we ended up getting more throughout the evening.
When we see the Pelicans on shore, the fish can not be far behind. We have enjoyed having a lot of wildlife off the beach in Danta these last few weeks. The team at Limonada is able to break down fish, and prepare some really great meal options with fresh catch.
The fountain on Plaza Central is complete, and it is a wonderful addition to this space. It offers a nice sound when you walk by and even cools off the plaza a little bit.
I am in San Jose today, so Renae sent a photo of what Las Catalinas is like right now. Which is the attached photo. It is upper 80s with on shore winds. Pretty much the same as the day before, and the day before that. Life is nice when you really do not have to check the weather forecast.
What does Las Catalinas, Costa Rica have in common with places like Santa Cruz-California, Newport-Rhode Island, Astoria-Oregon, and Paia-Maui? We are all part of Costal Livings 2018 top 20 Best Places to Live. Check out the January edition on Texture or in your neighborhood bookstore.
Always fun looking through "places" on Instagram and seeing all the fun people are having in Las Catalinas. What are the common posts? Great food, healthy activity, abundant nature, beautiful architecture, and lots of smiles.
We have some new changes down in the Sales Office. New faces, new homesites, and some new Flats to take a look through. Stop by this week and take a look!
The magic chairs of PVR. This time of year it is always great to see locals gearing up for the annual Triathlon and the visitors finding this corner of town to talk shop. We have been really lucky this year to be attracting more and more cyclists to Town.
