In this Daily: The Fountains of Las Catalinas Walking around Las Catalinas, you spot quite a few fountains, each adding a unique character to the beach town. However, these sculpted fountains are more than decorative, and each brings their own history and purpose to the design and urbanism of Las ...
This week, in the midst of a very busy and completely full town, we are working on plans for a future neighborhood of Las Catalinas known as Las Cruces. This neighborhood will be up on the hills in an area that has quite a bit of relatively level ground at around 100 meters of altitude. The views ...
The digital nomad | telecommuting culture is definitely present at Las Catalinas. We continue to enjoy having both full time and part time residents that are able to enjoy working from a distance. With multiple fibre lines coming in to Town, ours is a place you can create and connect without too ...
Town is starting to transform for the triathlon. Loads of competitors and supporters are arriving and starting to set up for the annual race. Hopefully you can join down at Limonada on Friday for a little carbo loading-pasta dinner!
The skyline in Las Catalinas is looking a little different these days.
We have our elections in Costa Rica today, for President and the Legislative Assembly. It is an important day for all of us here. Every citizen is registered to vote. We put most of our team off today, to encourage a higher voter turnout and will be anxious to see the results come in during the day.
Merch is here for the Triathlon. We will have packet pickups on next Friday (9th), followed by an orientation for the participants. We have a good number of people signed up, lots of relays and younger competitors. Leo Chacon confirmed a swimming clinic at 4:30 on Friday the 9th. The clinic is ...
Very excited to see a green crane being installed today. More details to be released soon about the building, but it is a very exciting next step for Las Catalinas. Once the crane is installed we will have to get a better picture to share.

Sitting in the rocking chairs this morning, and easily made a few new friends while catching up with old ones. PVR never disappoints!
Triathlon weekend is just a week away. Easily one of the most enjoyable times to be in Las Catalinas. Registration for the Triathlon is closing on Friday, or in the next 30 entries. Enter yourself or find a few friends to make a relay!
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this week will have spectacular sunrises. Not because of the sun, but because of the moon. If you happen to be in Town, try to find a spot high on the hills around 5:30AM. I would say either the top of McHenry or Punta Guachipelines. Both spots take about thirty ...
