This week, in the midst of a very busy and completely full town, we are working on plans for a future neighborhood of Las Catalinas known as Las Cruces. This neighborhood will be up on the hills in an area that has quite a bit of relatively level ground at around 100 meters of altitude. The views are tremendous. Those who hike and bike on our trails will know this area well. Professor Douglas Duany of the Notre Dame College of Architecture is here with two of his graduate students, Andrea Avelar and Javier Ballest. They are doing a great job on this project, and it is very exciting to imagine this future part of Las Catalinas!
In the meantime, town is totally full. Spring break is in full force. Kids are everywhere! I love it!
