ESurf Tours Join Pura Vida Ride’s List of Offerings in Town.
Pura Vida Ride is now offering eFoil surfing classes to its list of things to do in town.
An efoil is an electric-powered board equipped with a mast and wing. It lifts from the water after reaching a certain speed, creating a flying effect. Efoils do not need the power of waves to rise above the water since being powered by a battery and propeller, making them ideal for areas where one would normally paddleboard, or on calm seas.
Powered by hydrogen, spinning above the water as you move in a way that mixes standup battle board with surfing. The Pura Vida Ride team says it’s a great workout.
Classes are available on Saturdays but expect new dates to be added soon.
