Las Catalinas’ Core Values: Part One 

Every day, our actions at Las Catalinas are guided by certain essential values and beliefs that allow those in town to create a way of life that is healthy, sustainable, fulfilling, and fun. Our founder, Charles Brewer, developed these core values and beliefs, which are listed below. Living up to these ideals is key to our ambition of being a better kind of company, standing out from those around us, and we encourage all who visit or live in town to familiarize themselves with these values. 

• We respect the individual and believe that individuals who are treated with respect and given responsibility respond by giving their best. 

• We require complete honesty and integrity in everything we do. 

• We make commitments with care and then live up to them. In all things, we do what we say we are going to do. 

• Work is an important part of life, and it should be fun. Being a good businessperson does not mean being stuffy and boring. 

• We are frugal. We guard and conserve the company’s resources with at least the same vigilance that we would use to guard and conserve our own personal resources. 

Las Catalinas is a place where connecting with other people, and with nature, is easy. We think it is one of the most important and beautiful new towns in the world, and a big part of it is thanks to these core values. Stay tuned for Part 2.
