A Look Ahead: February Events to Stay Active and Build Community 

After yesterday’s celebration of love and friendship in Las Catalinas, our focus shifts to the exciting community events awaiting us for the rest of the month. True to its spirit, town offers many opportunities to connect with others, stay active, and bask in the beauty of our surroundings.

Pura Vida Paddle Club 

February 15, 22, 29 

Dive into the beauty of Costa Rica's coastline with our weekly paddle board adventure hosted by Pura Vida Ride every Thursday at 9:30 AM. This complimentary event, complete with an expert guide, invites participants to embark on an unforgettable exploration of the waters. Please note that this tour is designed for those with some paddle boarding experience, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all participants. Rent or bring your own SUP or Kayak and meet at Pura Vida Ride for an active morning filled with the breathtaking scenery of Playa Danta. 

Art Therapy  

February 15 

Experience the therapeutic benefits of art at an Art Therapy Class with Center of Joy, starting at 5:00 PM. All materials and snacks are included for your creative journey. The class has a cost of $50 plus taxes. 

Gin & Tonics at Sunset 

February 16 

Elevate your evening at Santarena Hotel's Rooftop with a Gin and Tonic station with a mixologist starting at 5:30 PM. Unwind with cocktails at sunset with friends, surrounded by the panoramic beauty of the sea. See you at Santarena. 

Sound Journey Experience 

February 17 

Center of Joy welcomes the public to a sound journey. Immerse yourself in self-discovery fueled by the transformative power of sound. Embrace and celebrate the month of love with a moment of self-care. The event starts at 6:30 PM. RSVP required, $60 plus taxes. 

Pura Vida Group Ride 

February 19, 26   

Every Monday at 8:30 AM, Pura Vida Ride takes a group out to explore the breathtaking Las Catalinas trails with a knowledgeable guide. This free event is a chance to enjoy a scenic hour-and-a-half ride and to connect with fellow trail riders in the community. Bring your bike or rent one for an unforgettable experience. See you on the trails. 

Craft Beer Class 

February 18 

Let's dive into the art of brewing with Papagayo Brew House. This interactive class teaches you more about how to brew craft beer. RSVP to reserve your spot, class starts at 5:00 PM. 

Volunteer at Finca la Estancia 

February 19 

Get involved from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for a rewarding experience at Finca La Estancia. You will assist with cleaning horse stables, gathering and packaging eggs, and feeding the animals on the farm. Located just two minutes away from Las Catalinas, this is a chance to give back to the community and connect with nature. Contact the town's concierge to reserve your spot. 

Amor Amor Meat Skewers 

February 23

Indulge in a delightful array of skewers, known locally as "pinchos," at Nature's Table in Center of Joy. Choose from options featuring meat or catered to our vegan and vegetarian guests. The event is priced at $25 per person, covering two skewers and a refreshing beverage. Join us for a culinary experience that caters to every palate!
