Welcoming New Town Members with Tree Planting
In April, to coincide with Earth Month, we introduced a new tradition at Las Catalinas: welcoming our newest staff members with a tree planting ceremony. Two groups have already left their imprint on the town by participating. Now, every new team member has the chance to plant a tree at Finca La Estancia, town's farm. This initiative aims to extend a warm welcome to our new members but also to enact a tangible change within the community.
By planting a tree upon joining Las Catalinas, team members embrace environmental stewardship and community involvement, leaving a lasting impact on the local ecosystem. Team members will contribute to town's sustainability efforts, reflecting two of Las Catalinas' core values: We love Costa Rica and are a positive influence in the country, and We care about nature and work hard to protect and enhance it.
