A Deeply Appreciated Gesture Thanking Las Catalinas for Their Support 

In July 2023, the dedicated Las Catalinas reforestation team extended a helping hand by generously contributing their time and effort to ensure the preventative maintenance of Abriendo Mentes’ green spaces. We are touched to receive a kind thank you letter from the community center which we share with Las Catalinas. 

Abriendo Mentes is a local nonprofit organization committed to empowering both children and adults through innovative education and community development programs in underserved rural communities in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. At the core of these transformative initiatives lies the Community Center, a vital hub that plays a pivotal role in nurturing the educational, social, and emotional growth of children, teenagers, and families in Potrero, Guanacaste. 

It is truly heartwarming to see how some of Las Catalinas' community initiatives and conservation efforts directly benefit those in need.
