We are set to perform maintenance at the Beach Club in the next few weeks. The building is getting painted, floors resealed, furniture sanded and stained, etc.
Another item on that list is to put a stain on the footbridge going over to the Beach Club from Paseo del Mar. Then these bees showed up. It was amazing how fast they worked. The nest grew as the hours passed, essentially taking over this entire corner of the bridge.
The Huacas Fire Department was able to come by late last night, and safely move the bees off to find another home. This type is apparently quite aggressive, so they deemed it best to move them away.
