This [group paddle-boarding trip](https://www.lascatalinascr.com/things-to-do/sea-kayaking-and-stand-up-paddle-boarding) will take place every Thursday from 9:30 AM to 11 A.M. as long the ocean conditions allow for a safe experience, with a guide included.   ### **Paddling on Playa Danta** Playa Danta offers glassy, smooth conditions perfect for [stand-up paddle-boarding](https://www.lascatalinascr.com/things-to-do/sea-kayaking-and-stand-up-paddle-boarding) and plenty of [other water activities](https://www.lascatalinascr.com/things-to-do/) thanks to its protected bay. The Islotes Pitahayas are small islands just one kilometer offshore that are an ideal destination to paddle to. They are a famous nesting site for pelicans and frigate birds. The coastline in both directions is dramatic, with a variety of beautiful beaches and cliffs to observe from the water.  ### **Perks for Homeowners**    There is no charge for this excursion if you bring your own equipment. However, for those who do not have their own paddle-board, fret not – rentals are available. Pura Vida Ride offers a special discount on rentals as an extra benefit for Las Catalinas’ homeowners who wish to participate.    Please note, this is a group session.
