In this Daily -- Circus Night at Limonada
A mostly sunny day today with some clouds around dawn and dusk, along with temperatures in the low to mid 80s and a steady breeze from the East. Temperatures will start in the high 70s just after dawn and rise slowly, hitting a high in the mid 80s before falling off in the afternoon. Out in the cove, a steady offshore wind and some steady swell should keep the waves averaging around 1.5 feet throughout the day and breaking slow, and the tide will be falling throughout the morning to a low tide at noon, before rising throughout the afternoon. On the trails, the moderate dew point and strong morning breeze will give way to a gentle evening, excellent for a sunset hike.
A lot going on today in Las Catalinas. This morning and this afternoon Casa Chameleon will be hosting two of their classic events -- Make Your Own Tortilla and Sunset Beats by the pool -- which will culminate down in town at Limonada with Circus Night! A classic Las Catalinas event, Circus Night features a small troupe of performers from the area as they come to town to bring a fun and entertainment to the area by Limonada with juggling, dancing, face painting, jokes, acrobatics, and fire eating. It's a show that's particularly popular among town's younger residents, but there's definitely something for visitors of all ages.
The event runs from 6pm to 9pm around Limonada, and should be an excellent way to wind down the evening as we head into the New Year's weekend.
