As expected, Jake and the crew at PVR put on a great event yesterday. The weather was nearly perfect. Competitors did have some chop and a few pretty big waves coming in. The start of our family race was pretty comical, watching everyone trying to get out past the breakers. The horn went off right as the biggest set of the day rolled in. There were at least six kids ready to turn back, but they all pushed forward and were really glad they did!
