Some heavy wind throughout the day today, coming from the northeast and ranging between 9 and 15 mph throughout the day, but otherwise a normal Guanacaste day. Rising temperatures and clear skies during the morning, with sun and temperatures in the low 80s by midday, where there's a low chance of scattered showers. With the strong gusts coming primarily from the land (known as offshore winds), waves should be breaking slower and steadier throughout the day, subject to the offshore swell. If the swell stays large enough, it should be an excellent day for bodysurfing, with wave breaks slowed down by the wind allowing for longer rides. The breeze should also drop temperatures on the trails and bring some animation to the forest, so it's also a great day for a bike ride or a hike.

Town welcomes another addition this weekend with the completion of 23 Calle Cartagena, a beachfront home located in the heart  of Calle Cartagena neighborhood. Designed by Eduardo Castillo, the house is painted in natural sand and earth tones, with 4 bedrooms, a lovely roof terrace with a fountain, as well as a pool and internal courtyard.

23 Calle Cartagena is a naturally social space, very open to the water with its broad beach frontage and welcoming from the street, inviting the visitor in with splashes of color, like its tiling which brings a vibrant orange accent to the home. On the inside, 23 Calle Cartagena feels expansive, with indoor/outdoor patios, open air skylights, and a natural decor that lends to the pulse of the home, and makes the place perfect for hosting guests and events.

Easy access to the beach and to town as well as a charismatic style make 23 Calle Cartagena an great addition to the energy of Las Catalinas, and brings a lively vibe to the growing neighborhood.

Congratulations to the new homeowners!
