In this Daily -- Wrapping up Guanacaste Nights
Some tremendous Sunday weather today, with temperatures in the low 80s throughout the day, a consistent light breeze, and clear skies from dawn to dusk. The temperatures will start in the high 70s just after sunrise before climbing slightly over the course of the morning, hitting around 82 by 10am and staying pretty much level for the rest of the day. The breeze will be light and consistent throughout the day today, changing direction a few times from northeast to more southern, and then finishing up with an onshore breeze coming out of the southwest. Out in the cove, the breeze won't have much of an effect on the wave action, keeping the surf relatively consistent between 1 and 2 feet throughout the day. On the trails, the whole day will be an excellent time to be out, with the low temperatures and light breeze making for an ideal set of conditions.
A long full weekend, and a fun evening to close out with Guanacaste Nights. Last night's event was an excellent celebration of Guanacaste foods, with each chef bringing the region to life with their unique perspectives to create a festival buffet that delighted the senses. All across Plaza Lucia the atmosphere was lively, people were excited to try new foods, and the chefs added a charismatic presence to the evening.
More photos to come in the next few days.
Elsewhere in town today, this morning saw another town talk from experts at the Beach Club, and this evening will bring with it another edition of Sunset Trailblazers, departing from Central at 4:45pm.
