Temperatures will start around 75 in the morning after another breezy evening, rising to the low 80s over the course of the day. There will be some cloud cover this afternoon as the wind picks up, hanging around 8mph with gusts a bit higher. Dew point is a bit higher today, around 71F, and out in the cove the swell should be moderate, averaging a little under 2ft.
In the shadow of Santarena, there's another smaller building that is almost complete -- the Board Bodega. There's a particular love for the board sports in Las Catalinas, whether they come in the paddle, surf, or boogie variety, but for homeowners further up the hills, bringing a board down to the beach and back up again regularly can be a bit of a hassle.
Enter the Board Bodega. Located just out back of Pura Vida Ride, the Board Bodega will serve as a safe place to store boards with quick access to the beach. The Bodega will be fully equipped with board racks for all shapes and sizes, with each board kept safe and secured to each board owner. Keep an eye out for this to open up for use in the near future.
