Las Catalinas celebrated one of its most memorable traditions with a remarkable turnout for Trick or Treating this year.
As the clock struck 4 PM, children, and ghouls and goblins, began to gather in Plaza Mercado, armed with maps and excited to explore the streets of town. Parents had the peace of mind of knowing that their little ones were free to roam without the worry of cars. And for a little extra candy and fun, a beachfront piñata added an extra layer of delight to the festivities. The rain did not deter from having a great time.
After hunting down candy with adults following behind admiring Las Catalinas’ architecture, the splash pad, bouncy castle and mechanical bull turned into a costume party. A mesmerizing drum circle unfolded, captivating the crowd, and creating lasting memories for all who attended.
Trick or Treating at Las Catalinas is a communal celebration that brings our town together in the spirit of child like fun. Keep an eye out for more family events to come.
