Construction Update: El Prado's Evolution in Las Catalinas 

Last week, El Prado, Las Catalinas’ latest development, reached the two-year mark of the beginning of infrastructure construction. We are eager to share the latest developments in its journey. As this vision is transformed into reality, here is a glimpse of the progress made and plans for the future.

El Prado Timeline 

• January 2021:

  Initiation of El Prado infrastructure construction. 

• November 2022:
  

  Commencement of Terraced Flats construction

• October 2023:
  

  Successful completion of El Prado's infrastructure. 

• November 2023:
  

  Launch of El Prado hardscape (concrete layers) with meticulous details aimed at traffic calming. Notable features include street direction changes by at least forty-five degrees every seventy-five meters.

   
  
• December 2023:
  

  After a year of construction, the first residents moved into the Terraced Flats, comprising 22 homes and two commercial spaces.

• January 2023: 
  

  Paseo del Parque becomes accessible for walking. 

• Completion of landscape design, featuring plans for the planting of numerous trees and green areas. 

• Avenida los Altos hardscape is finished, and the stone pebble borders are in the process of being installed. 

   

  
  

• Progress on Calle Ladera and Calle Upe with their respective hardscape developments. 

   

  
  

• Completion of 2 out of 3 retaining walls for the tennis courts, with the next steps involving the installation of concrete slabs.

In just two years, El Prado has transformed into a neighborhood in progress. Anticipate the next El Prado chapter as homes are built, the border banding will be filled with concrete cobbles.
