In this Daily -- Art in Limonada and Wake Day Spa

A warm and sunny day today, with a breeze coming from the east-northeast steadily throughout the day and not a cloud in the sky. Temperatures will start in the high 70s before rising steadily throughout the middle of the morning, peaking in the mid 80s around lunch and remaining steady for the rest of the day until about 4:30. The breeze will start strong, around 15mph and a bit gusty, before falling off to around 8mph after lunch. Out in the cove, the waves will be moderate today, breaking slow and steady between 1-2 feet for the better part of the day with a low tide around 10:30am and a high tide around 4:30pm. On the trails, this evening will be the best time to be out, with the falling temperatures and the moderate breeze making for excellent conditions right around sunset.

A bit of a reunion going on at Las Catalinas this week, with some old college friends coming together to catch up and spend the week in town. Featuring members of the GSB Graduating Class of '87 (including town founder Charles Brewer, among others), the group has been active all around town as they enjoy the company of classmates and the chance to reconnect.

Today, they were up learning an interesting new style of art in Limonada, which combines some natural elements like branches and trees from around Las Catalinas with heated colorful wax on cut planks of wood. Will be interesting to see the results!

Also in town today -- Sunset Happy Hour at the Beach Club this evening, and an excellent opportunity to get some well needed rest and relaxation with Wake Day Spa. For today only, they're offering a special 20% off rate on all massages, which serves as just a perfect excuse to head in and treat yourself right.
