In this Daily -- Sunset Trailblazers and evening cocktails at Limonada
A warm and sunny day excellently suited to spend some time on the beach and enjoy a clear sunset. Temperatures will start in the high 70s just after dawn and rise quickly, peaking in the mid 80s as we approach the afternoon and falling off around sunset. A relatively strong breeze throughout the day, hanging around 8mph for most of the day before picking up to a little over 10mph as the sun's going down. In the cove, the waves should be moderate, between 1 and 2 feet, with a rising tide all morning, excellent for some time in the waves. On the trails, the warm breeze should make a sunset hike just the ticket.
Speaking of sunset hikes, today features the second edition of Sunset Trailblazers, departing from Central at 4:45. The weather should be just about perfect, cooling off from the heat of the day with a pleasant breeze as the sun sets, and not a cloud in the sky to block the view for miles around.
Another great spot to spend the evening will be down at Limonada, who are hosting their Sunset Happy Hour from 4-6pm, perfect for enjoying a cocktail and a few appetizers as the sun sets on another great weekend at Las Catalinas.
Altogether, a pair of excellent options for a laid back or adventurous evening.
