In this Daily -- Rain and Progress on Paseo Miraflores
Today rain continues in town and the whole country. This week has been one of those counted times of the year where you can see a few jumpers being worn in town- Guanacaste chilly of mid to high 60s at some points of the day.
A low pressure system in the Pacific and the active presence of the inter-tropical convergence zone in Costa Rica has, in the last days, favoured continuous rains starting from dawn and prevailing throughout the day. We expect today to be the last day of rains, and tomorrow should be back to the normal conditions of green season: warm and breezy sunny mornings with possible refreshing afternoon showers.
The mountains are as green as they have been in months, water has started to flow in seasonal rivers and creeks and very little golden signs are left from the dry season.
If you've been out for a rainy-day walk by PVR, the volleyball court, or sitting on Santarena's terrace (recommended with a cup of tea), you've been able to track the frames of the Mercado Flats rising, with third floors in progress on all three mixed-use apartments. These three structures will form the east end of Plaza Mercado, and they'll also open up onto Paseo Miraflores, which loops along the most northeast corner of Beach Town.
The construction team also broke ground on 3 Paseo Miraflores recently, the first single family home on the street.
