In this Daily -- Getting Creative with Food

A cooler morning this morning, with some warm temperatures and a strong breeze in the middle of the day, falling off around sunset. This evening around sunset will be an excellent time for a beachside cocktail hour like the locals do. You can have Copper & Stone arrange some charcuterie, add a bottle of bubbles, and enjoy the best time of day in style. After all, Copper & Stone is quite a bit more than just a grocery.

Also this afternoon, Chef Gilberto Briceño will be hosting "Vegan Unlimited", a course on creating colorful and delicious cuisine using vegetables from around Costa Rica and the world. It's a particular area of specialty for Briceño, who has studied the use of plants and other natural ingredients in international kitchens across Europe and South America, and plans to share his knowledge with guests and residents at 3pm at the Beach Club. It's both a dive into Costa Rica's cuisine and ingredients as well as an excellent learning experience to take home, wherever in the world home is! Bookings available through Concierge or the Las Catalinas App.

And don't forget about El Mercadito, taking place this afternoon in Plaza Danta from 3 to 6pm, a great way to bring home some crafts and art with the local color.
