In this Daily -- Mastering the Art of Picnic

A warm day with quite a bit of sun throughout the day, a light bit of cloud cover in the afternoon, and a gentle breeze during daytime hours. Should be a great day for a stroll along the trails in the morning, and a dip in the water in the afternoon.

A pair of excellent events coming tomorrow, both focusing on the culinary side of things in Las Catalinas. First, during the afternoon, Chef Gilberto Briceño will be hosting "Mastering the Art of the Picnic", a masterclass on food to go that's particularly well suited to Las Catalinas. In the course, you'll learn about flavorful, portable foods perfect for a day out on the beach or the trails, and you can learn all this and more today at 3pm at the Beach Club.

Also coming up tomorrow is this week's hot ticket, the Flavors of Nicoya: Bites on the Beachfront tomorrow night at Plaza Danta. Experience a food festival inspired by the stories and culinary history of the Nicoya Peninsula, told through one of their number one exports -- their delicious seafood. It'll be a night of interesting bites and colorful history, and you can sign up for the event right here.
