This Tuesday evening at 6pm, Chef Gilberto Briceño will be hosting A Walk in Spain as part of the Alma Viajera Pop-Up Dinner series, hosted down in the Beach Club. The focus will be Costa Rican cuisine. Specifically tapas made from fresh-caught seafood and locally sourced produce. The tradition of tapas is one that fits Las Catalinas well. It’s a combination of local flavors best enjoyed with friends, all while walking through a beautiful town.
Vegan Unlimited: A Look at Creative Vegan Cuisine
Chef Gilberto will be hosting Vegan Unlimited this Wednesday at 6pm in the Beach Club. It’s a session that shows the power of plants and vegetables in fueling innovative cooking. This is a skill that’s very valuable to learn in Costa Rica! The country does have over 6% of the world’s biodiversity after all. Among those Costa Rican fruits and vegetables are a whole host of delicious, fascinating options.
Fine Wine in Santarena: Ponciana’s Wine Tasting
This Friday Ponciana will be hosting a wine tasting at 6pm. The event offers a chance to explore some fine wine and pairings as the sun sets over Playa Danta. Red and white wine are just the start with a whole host of other options potentially on the list. Might there be a rosé or even the appearance of some bubbles? You'll have to attend to find out!
