In this Daily: A Taste of International Cuisine from Across Both Oceans
Quite a bit on offer this week, headlined by international cuisine from two of the world’s most prestigious culinary capitals. At the beginning of this week, Chef Gilberto and team will be hosting Tokyo Street Food pop-up dinner, and at the end of the week the Santarena team will be hosting their Bastille Day Brunch, inspired by French cuisine.
Also going on this week -- El Mercadito and Movie Night on Playa Danta.
The week will start with a culinary trip to Tokyo on Tuesday evening, as the Tokyo Street Food Pop-Up takes over the Beach Club. A little taste of some colorful flavors from across the Pacific.
Then on Wednesday, el Mercadito showcases the work of artisans from the area around Las Catalinas, with a selection of handmade crafts to bring home for a gift or liven up your home.
Friday brings another Kids Movie Night on Playa Danta. It’s a great atmosphere -- sitting together in the ocean breeze watching the big screen.
And finally this Sunday brings us a taste from across the Atlantic, as Santarena hosts a Conservatory Brunch in honor of Bastille day. French and Costa Rican are two tastes that rarely collide, and seeing how the Santarena team executes it will be an exciting experience.
