In this Daily -- Guanacaste Nights Continues
A clear and sunny day today, with a steady breeze throughout the day and scarcely a cloud in the sky, and highs in the low 80s. The temperature will start in the high 70s right after sunrise today, raising slowly to the low 80s before remaining steady throughout the day, finishing up in a warm and breezy evening. The wind will start off moderate, around 8mph around sunset, before falling off around lunch and then picking back up to around 11mph at sunset. Out in the cove, the wave action will be moderate, a little bit over a foot throughout the day, with a falling tide throughout the better part of the morning, hitting low tide at midday and then rising again. On the trails, most of today will be an excellent time to be out, with warm temperatures and a healthy breeze keeping conditions ideal.
The big news in town today is the continuation of Guanacaste Nights, taking place in Plaza Lucia this evening and celebrating the region's culinary tradition and wide variety of flavorful ingredients. The event last night was a tremendous success at Casa Chameleon, as the styles of each unique chef came to life, and this evening will be an opportunity to see more of the same. However, visitors to both nights need not fear -- tonight beckons an entirely different selection of dishes suited to the atmosphere of the food festival!
Elsewhere in town today, there will be a Sunset Happy Hour at the Beach Club, an ideal lead in to the event, which will start at 6pm this evening.
Also, for recent arrivals to town and homeowners alike, there will a town talk tomorrow morning at the Beach Club at 9am.
