Our colleague Julio took a few great pictures this morning on his way through Town. The tall tree with the yellow flowers is the Cortez Amarillo. During the dry season, these trees drop their leaves and then we get treated for a special week when the flower. These bright yellow trumpet flowers last for about a week. Usually the trees bloom together in groups, and is one of my favorite markers of the season. Hope this is the signal that the show will begin again soon.
