The skies above Town are dotted with fluffy white cumulus clouds today, a rarity for the peak of the dry season, but in line with the weather patterns of what has been a cooler and milder season this year, including an exceedingly rare, one-off February rain.

It’s been an interesting variance to dry season. Clouds of any form only manifest when atmospheric conditions are gentle and there’s plenty of moisture in the air, which corresponds to cooler temperatures, more shade, and the absence of the dry strong winds that often appear around this time of year.

That moisture has helped foliage on the mountain and around town remain just a touch greener and more full. Water conditions are also warmer and clearer, due to slightly less deepwater upwelling from the milder winds.
