Strolling through town yesterday evening, Pula and Bubbs were out for their late-afternoon walk with Ivan from LaPula Shop and Studio.
Pula and Bubbs around town, and other dogs like Phinneas, are mainstays around town, something made better by the walkability in Las Catalinas. Bubbs’ favorite sunbeam outside of LaPula in Calle La Ronda only works because it’s a pedestrian street. Phinneas is able to freely roam along the beachfront and the water with plenty of space to run and play. Pula often explores the trails with Ivan, enjoying access to nature that is just as healthy for a dog as it is for people.
Walkability changes the routine for all members of the family. Dogs can be a much more integrated part of life, welcome throughout town, constantly connected to nature, always just a short walk away. It makes a lunchtime walk through town easy, and makes stepping out a bit early for a sunset stroll along the beach a natural part of life.
