A warm and sunny day today, with some gentler afternoon temperatures and a pleasant breeze heading towards sunset. It will be ideal conditions today for an afternoon or evening hike up on the trails.
Tonight's edition of Alma Viajera is Native Terroir, which aims to take guests back to the roots of the land around Las Catalinas with a dinner highlighting the native plants and ingredients available around town. As we saw at Guanacaste Nights, cooking with native ingredients is a particular specialty of Gilberto Briceño, tonight's head chef, and this evening promises to be an eye opening culinary experience.
Elsewhere in town today, swimming lessons and functional fitness went on at their usual times, and there will be more of the same tomorrow, at 6:15/7:15am for swimming lessons and 7am for functional fitness.
