Reaching the end of August and heading into September this week, with the cooler temperatures and slightly mistier mornings of late green season upon us. Conditions on the trails have been rich and green, with some evening rains maintaining smooth trails and filling out the foliage. The sea conditions have been mild, with this weekend’s offshore swell still offering great surf conditions up and down the coast. Throughout town, the pleasant weather calls for strolls along the street any time of day, and evenings bring rich colorful sunsets.

This week starts with morning fitness following the usual schedule, with HIIT Monday and Wednesday at 7am and Swimming Sessions with ConnectOcean every morning at 6:15 am and 7:15am. Tuesday’s pop-up dinner at 6pm in the Beach Club is Tokyo Street Food, featuring a meal of traditional ramen, yakitori, seasonal seafood, and sweet sticky desserts. Then, Saturday at 5pm brings Santarena’s Gin & Tonics as the sun sets on the rooftop to wrap up the week.
Two notable pieces of news going into this week. First, Pura Vida Ride is offering a special deal on all women’s Amuse Society products. These beach chic swimwear, t-shirts, shorts, and dresses are 20-40% for a limited time as part of seasonal clearance while supplies last.
Also starting up are Copper & Stone’s new “Happy Copper Tuesdays”. From 5pm to 7pm on Tuesdays, Copper & Stone is now offering weekly specials on food and beverage on the terrace, with music as the sun sets for a casually social atmosphere lit with warm light.
