Another quiet week passes in Las Catalinas, and town remains a safe, calm, and healthy place to be. Per the Costa Rican health ministry, travel has been restricted for Semana Santa, which will keep things similar through the next few weeks.

Costa Rica has been lauded for its quick and decisive response to this pandemic, which has helped slow the spread of the virus. In line with this, we do want to offer a friendly reminder to anyone staying in town to comply with the municipality of Santa Cruz’s decision to close the beaches, which includes Playas Danta and Dantita. Working together, we can all help Costa Rica weather this storm and come out on the other side healthy and strong.
