In this Daily -- A Great Day for Snow!

Some chillier temperatures today, but the light onshore breeze and the clear morning sun should mean that conditions out on the trails will be crisp for some morning skiing or boarding. Temperatures rising in the afternoon will mean trail conditions are set to get a bit more slushy, so it'll be the perfect time to enjoy a cup of cocoa wrapped up around a crackling fire. Make sure to stay warm today!

Also some interesting news today with the opening of registration for the Las Catalinas BI 2019! One of town's long term favorite events, the Las Catalinas Biathlon has become one of the favorite events of its kind in Costa Rica, and we're looking forward to welcoming our three time winner Romyar Akersonsson back for another round! There's nothing quite like the feeling of town being full for the BI, with friendly faces all bundled up in the snow to support friends, and we've got our fingers crossed that it'll be better than ever. See you all at the Las Catalinas BI!

Other than that, the usual activities will be going on today, with ice fishing in the morning out by the islotes, open sledding all day up on Guachipelines, a snowman competition for the young-uns down by Plaza Danta, and a hot-cocoa making course this afternoon at Limonada. Also coming up this week, keep an eye out for tomorrow night's Alma Viajera Pop-Up, "Cuatro Ways to Cook A Caribou", and a special igloo construction class with town's build team. Altogether, a lively week to enjoy the snow!

And Happy April Fools Day!
