As October is usually the rainiest month in Costa Rica, yesterday we woke up to the soft sound of rain.
Everyone knows that even when rain changes our plans, one of the best feelings is waking up to a rainy day, wrapped in the comfort of blankets and the quiet joy of a slow morning. It’s no surprise that many meditation apps include the sound of rain or ocean waves. Both have been shown to help calm the heart and the nervous system.
That was the case this morning, but with a special touch. A few neighbors captured this breathtaking rainbow that seemed to embrace Town from side to side. If you missed it, here are some of the beautiful pictures taken by two residents in Town, Susanne and Boyd, who kindly gave permission to share them.
What a privilege to be greeted in the morning by such a scene, and to admire nature's splendor unfolding right before our eyes.
