If you have recently walked through the entrance of Paseo Palmeras or along the A Trail, you may have noticed familiar violet petals gently scattered on the ground once again.
These delicate flowers are blooming anew, bringing color back to an area where the dry season is now fully visible. Many trees have shed their foliage during this time of year, making these soft purple blooms stand out even more and add a beautiful contrast to the landscape.

The blooms belong to Bignonia neoheterophylla, a climbing vine well adapted to our climate and happiest in full sun, which is why we see them flourishing during the dry season.

As the dry season reaches its peak, these violet blooms bring a subtle sense of life and color to the paths we walk each day, marking the moment when the landscape quietly begins to shift once again.
