October sits right in the heart of the rainy season and, as the wettest month of the year in Costa Rica, combined with the influence of atmospheric systems in the Caribbean, it brought out a different side of Trail D, one that’s full of fun and adventure.
As water levels rose, the creeks became more visible, and riders on Trail D counted around six along the way. Crossing them made the ride messy and muddy, the kind of excitement mountain bike lovers truly enjoy. This trail also features a wooden bridge that, especially on the downhill, adds an extra thrill to the ride.
