Rainfall Edges Closer to Town

While some much-needed rain has graced the Guanacaste region, Las Catalinas has yet to experience its first rainfall as of this morning. Nearby areas like Huacas received a brief shower yesterday, and Nicoya has also been blessed with precipitation off and on for a few days. This gentle rainfall serves to rejuvenate the soil and tropical dry forest following months of intense sunshine.

Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 37.2 degrees Celsius (99 F) and a low of 22.8 degrees Celsius (73 degrees F).
