The Playdate Passport officially came to a close on August 1, after a summer filled with visits, stamps, little adventures, and plenty of reasons to explore the businesses around Town. A few days later, on August 6, the Commercial Leasing team held the long-awaited raffle to select the three winners among all the completed passports that had been turned in.
This year, all three prizes stayed especially close to home: the three winners are Las Catalinas residents, and in a particularly sweet coincidence, the first and second prizes went to two children in Town.
First place went to Penelope, who won the grand prize package, including a one-night stay for two at Santarena Hotel with breakfast, an Omakase dinner experience for two at Tamaki, and a kayak or paddle board tour for up to four people.
Second place went to Joaquín, whose prize includes dinner for four and a case of 24 beers from Papagayo Brewing Co., lunch for two with detox smoothies and coffee from Center of Joy, and a chocolate and wine beauty kit.
Third place went to Ciara, who won a collection of experiences around Town, including a creative kit with pastries, beverages, and a piece to paint at Pintacafé, brunch for two at Pots & Bowls, a $120 voucher for a beachfront dining experience at Celeste, as well as waffles and coffee from Coquelicot.
More than the prizes themselves, the Playdate Passport was a lovely way to close an activity that invited families to spend time together, visit different businesses, and experience Town through a playful little challenge.
We extend a big thank you to everyone who participated, collected stamps, turned in their passports, and helped make the Playdate Passport such a fun part of the summer. And of course, thank you to all the participating businesses whose prizes and involvement made the experience possible from beginning to end.
