A few weeks ago, one of La Estancia’s youngest residents decided it was time for a little adventure. Meet Jalapeño, a young horse with a curious spirit and, apparently, a particular weakness for fresh green grass.
With the recent rains bringing new life and greener pastures to the surrounding landscape, Jalapeño got a taste of the fresh grass and decided he wanted a little more. Before anyone knew it, he had found his way out of his usual enclosure and was happily running around the farm, enjoying his unexpected moment of freedom.
Of course, Eusebio, a beloved member of the La Estancia team, was quick to notice his little escape. He hopped onto Dulce de Leche and set off after Jalapeño, turning an otherwise ordinary day at La Estancia into a rather entertaining horseback chase. Even Canela joined in on the excitement, taking off on a little run after Jalapeño herself!
It seems that the arrival of greener pastures has brought a little extra excitement to La Estancia. Fortunately, Eusebio, also known as Chevo, managed to catch up with Jalapeño and bring him safely back home, where he is now happily enjoying his days in a much calmer fashion. And while his little adventure may not have been part of the day's plans, it certainly made for a good story!
