This nutrient-rich compost is then utilized within the farm, and at our plant nursery. It is also generously donated to support local community projects.    We encourage all homeowners to participate in La Estancia’s composting program, not only for the environmental benefits but for the rewards you receive in return. Composting five times a month entitles you to your choice of a gift of free-range eggs, honey from the farm’s apiary, nutrient-rich compost for garden use, and even access to free pickleball reservations or farm tours. To access these rewards, simply bring your compost materials to Plaza Mercado between Wednesday and Sunday, from 8 AM to 3 PM where they have conveniently placed dedicated compost bins at Vivero La Estancia. The most dedicated composter of the month is also entitled to other perks.     Should you have any questions or would like a tour of our composting system, our town concierge is available to arrange a guided tour for your convenience.
