In this Daily -- Back in the Swing of Things

A warm and sunny day today, with temperatures rising slowly throughout, a strong breeze in the morning falling off after lunch, and some scattered clouds in the afternoon. Temperatures will start in the high 70s just after dawn and climb slowly, reaching the mid 80s by mid afternoon, before falling off around sunset. The breeze will start relatively strong from the east today, dropping slightly by lunchtime and picking up as night falls, and expect a few scattered clouds throughout today. In the cove, the offshore breeze will keep the surf breaking relatively slow, and the swell should mean that waves are steady between 1 and 2 feet. On the trails, a moderate dew point around 69F combined with the breeze will make for excellent conditions for a sunset hike or a morning bike ride.

Town is back in the swing of things bright and early this morning, with a number of activities going on all around town. This morning in the Yoga Pavilion was an excellent Wednesday HIIT Training and Flexibility Class, followed by a Yoga Class up in Casa Chameleon at 9am, both taking advantage of the excellent weather this morning as we start this year. Moving on into the afternoon, there will be a mixology class up at Casa Chameleon, teaching some of the unique twists and dashes of Guanacaste, and in the evening Limonada will be hosting their Sunset Happy Hour, leading into their hearty special for tonight -- Pork Tenderloin with a Peach Palm Puree, and a side of mixed vegetables cooked in a beer-based sauce. An excellent day to get up, get out around town, and take advantage of the new year.
