Thanks to everyone that helped out at the Beach Clean up today! The community did an amazing job. We collected a lot of the big items, and will continue to work on finding ways to get some of the smaller things. We placed eight waste bins out on the beaches, and we will soon be replacing them with ones that can help our beachgoers more easily help keep trash in its place.
This week we are laying down a large grass area in Beach Town North. We will keep the grass there for this season, and get some trees planted for the future. We are preparing a few of those trees in our nursery now.
Never been to the nursery? I give small tours up there if anyone is interested next time they come through. Up there, you can also see where all of our waste goes and the steps Town takes to be responsible with that service.
