Imagine a world where people from all corners of the globe come together in a synchronized, collective meditation experience. On September 23rd, this vision came to life worldwide and in Las Catalinas, with a global walking meditation guided by Joe Dispenza, an expert in neuroscience, neuroplasticity, epigenetics, mind-body medicine, and heart-brain coherence.
In Las Catalinas, the meditation ceremony took participants on a unique journey, alternating between standing with closed eyes and walking through town. The path started at Plaza Central, winding through Avenida La Antigua, Calle Cartagena, town’s trails, Paseo del Mar, Plaza Mercado, and Plaza Papaya, before concluding at Center of Joy. Along the way, participants soaked in breathtaking views of the village, the beach, and nature.
After the meditation, Well-Living hosted an integration activity at the Center of Joy, completely free for participants. Journaling practices help absorb the meditation's message, which centered on our collective role in making the world a place of peace, love, solidarity, and empathy. Journaling focused on how each of us as individuals can contribute to this mission and bring about the changes we want to see in society.
The event concluded with one of Center of Joy’s award-winning soothing sound healing sessions led by Rodrigo Fonseca, allowing participants to enter a state of relaxation.
As we reflect on this inspiring event, let it be a reminder that in our fast-paced world, we have the power to unite as a global community, fostering inner peace and driving positive change. Be sure to stay tuned for upcoming Las Catalinas events; all are invited to participate in wellness gatherings.
