Sunrise Sniffers: A Morning Walk for Dogs and Neighbors

What began as one neighbor’s daily routine is now about to become a heartwarming new tradition in Town.

Since this past Thursday, residents have been invited to gather at 6:30 AM outside Pura Vida Ride for a casual dog hike through the trails. It’s a chance to get moving, connect with neighbors, and start the day with wagging tails and warm coffee.

The walk is called Sunrise Sniffers, and it was started by Mike Rosser, a full-time resident and dog lover who wanted to create something simple that brings the community together.

Mike’s inspiration came from his own journey with Tica, the pup he rescued earlier this year. What began as quiet morning walks with her became an opportunity to invite others in, both neighbors and fellow dog lovers, to share in the joy that comes from being outdoors, side by side with our four-legged companions.

The walk is going to be about 2 miles (but always flexible depending on the group), and afterward, there’s coffee and muffins waiting back at PVR. And the best part? You don’t need a dog to join, just a love for early mornings, fresh air, and friendly company.

The first walk took place this past thrusday, and it was a great success!

If you'd like to be part of the group, just reach out to Mike to be added to the neighbours' WhatsApp chat.
