As the new year begins, you are probably fully settled into vacation mode. If you are looking for an activity to spend a few hours and move your body, we have the perfect plan for a day outdoors.
As you know, Las Catalinas offers 42 km of trails. While many visitors tend to stay close to Playa Danta and Playa Dantita, today we want to invite you to take a different route and explore a quieter corner of the trail network.
For this hike, start at B13, across from Casa Chameleon, and follow the trail toward H5, then F2, and continue until you reach F4. Along the way, you will find a sign pointing to a lookout.
From the main trail, it is only about a 25 meter walk to reach the viewpoint. There, you will find a simple wooden bench and a truly spectacular view. From this spot, you can enjoy a privileged perspective of Las Catalinas, the nearby bays, the ocean and, if you time it right, a beautiful sunset.
It is also a peaceful place to sit, enjoy a snack or take a quiet moment to reflect and connect with nature, maybe even think about your goals for this new year.
Bring a bottle of water, a hat and comfortable hiking shoes, and get ready to enjoy a wonderful time exploring the trails of Las Catalinas.
