Salomon Brings Community Together with a Las Catalinas Fun Run

This past Saturday, April 11, Las Catalinas welcomed an early morning full of movement, connection, and shared energy as Salomon hosted a Fun Run followed by breakfast at Celeste.

The event was organized by one of the La Rambla residents from Well Living and brought together more than 50 people, including residents, friends, and members of Las Catalinas’ team across different departments, from Finance and Sales to Copper and Stone and Pura Vida Ride. It was a simple invitation, but one that naturally gathered a diverse and enthusiastic group.

The morning began with a 5k trail run, as participants set off into the hills under the intensity of the dry season heat. Even so, many chose to take on the course, rewarded along the way with wide views and the unique experience of moving through the trails together. Crossing the finish line felt like a small victory. Back at the starting point, Plaza Danta was filled with high fives, hugs, and the shared excitement and joy of having finished the run together.

At Celeste, the outdoor dining area had been thoughtfully prepared for the occasion by the event organizers, with green flags hanging under the trees, a DJ playing music to set the atmosphere, and a stand showcasing the Salomon shoes.

Every runner received a shirt before the race and a bag with some goodies after it. The run was followed by a breakfast buffet, offering everything from a typical Costa Rican breakfast with gallo pinto and eggs to toast with egg and salmon, along with fresh fruit, juice, and coffee.

The morning unfolded among conversations and laughter. Many lingered, saying hello, catching up, and simply enjoying the atmosphere and the food. The event went beyond the run itself and reminded everyone of how strong a sense of community can be found in Las Catalinas. The joy of being active and being together is easy to find, but never overlooked.
