Reusing Materials and Shaping New Spaces in Town: The Amphitheater's New Planter

As we shared in a previous Daily, construction works for Montaña have officially begun. Over the past weeks, ongoing earthworks in this new project have made soil available that is now being thoughtfully reused across different tasks in Town.

Much of the vegetal material has been repurposed in the nursery and in several ongoing projects, starting with a rustic planter at the Amphitheater in Plaza Mercado.

These works began this past Wednesday. As a result, palm trees and malinchillos were planted there, bringing vibrant orange blooms that not only add color but also attract butterflies and hummingbirds. The space was ready just in time for Saturday’s Christmas Party.

The new planter adds a green touch to the area and provides a subtle sense of intimacy, creating a gentle enclosure around the seating area and allowing those at the Amphitheater to feel comfortably separated from those playing volleyball or walking through Plaza Danta behind.

During our Christmas celebration, this section was enjoyed by everyone who gathered to watch the two musical groups perform Christmas carols. The space felt welcoming and cozy, perfect for more musical events in Town.
