Reading Lantana, One Building at a Time

If you’ve walked by Lantana recently, you may have noticed something has shifted. It’s not just that construction has advanced, but that the spaces themselves are starting to make sense in a new way.

In Building I, for example, the slab is being completed in a single continuous pour, allowing the space to finally read as one whole surface. Nearby, terrace columns are beginning to be revealed, hinting at the way these outdoor areas will eventually be experienced.

What used to feel like a series of construction zones is now beginning to reveal actual places. In Building H, wall installation has started in key areas and the garage, while ceiling structures are shaping interior volumes. In Building G, the intermediate slabs are now close to completion, and structural elements are allowing the next phases to move forward.

In Building F, the pool on level 2 has already been poured, and electromechanical systems are beginning to take their place. In Building E, interior partitions, systems, and wooden columns are defining spaces that already feel warmer and more complete. And in Buildings D and C, finishes are beginning to appear, from tile installation to detailed elements like arches that are now visible on site.

There is a noticeable shift when construction reaches this stage, when the focus moves from structure to experience. You can start to understand proportions, imagine furniture, and picture daily life in a way that wasn’t possible before.

Beyond the buildings, access into Lantana is also improving. As we shared in a previous edition of The Daily, new stone steps are being formed to connect La Rambla more directly with this area, creating a more natural path between both spaces and making arrival feel more intuitive.

And then there is the funicular. Still in process, but already beginning to take form. Its structure is currently being assembled, offering a first glimpse into how this future connection will work and how movement through Lantana will eventually feel.

There is still a lot ahead, but at this point, Lantana is no longer something you have to interpret from plans. It’s something you can walk through, begin to understand, and be drawn into.
