Rainy Days in Town

As the rainy season begins to settle in, afternoon showers have been making steady appearances.

Over the past week and again this Monday, rain began to fall around 2:00 pm, with Monday being the rainiest so far. It wasn’t a strong downpour, but it lasted into the early evening, just enough to invite a cozy moment indoors.

Still, the rain doesn’t slow Town down.

Some found shelter under the roof of The Brewhouse, enjoying the afternoon with friends and family while staying connected to the outdoors.

Others braved the drizzle with an ice cream in hand and a walk through Plaza Mercado, because there’s something deeply freeing about being outside in the rain.

Playa Danta takes on a soft, cinematic feel when it rains. The way water from the sky meets the ocean creates a peaceful scene, and contemplating the ocean during or after the rain is quite calming.

Some plazas remained empty, but the rain gave Town a special kind of charm. When it rains, the greens become more vibrant, and small puddles reflect the architecture and sky, creating an atmosphere that somehow feels nostalgic.
