This plaza, dedicated in honor of one of the community's esteemed original members, Papaya the dog, marks a significant milestone in the history of[Beachtown,](https://www.lascatalinascr.com/)     The concept for Plaza Papaya can be traced back to before Town was even built. Diego Calzada, a former member of the development team, came to work every day with his beloved companion, Papaya. Papaya is a remarkable 15-year-old canine, holds a special place in our hearts, and is better known as Diego’s daughter.    Throughout Town's early days, Papaya was a constant presence, accompanying Diego and his team on their inspections and walk-throughs.
