On Friday, March 13, Las Catalinas Doorway, under the Athletics and Activities division, hosted a lively pickleball exhibition at the courts in Central Park, bringing together players and spectators for an energetic afternoon in Town.
The event featured Costa Rica’s highest rated pickleball player, Sylvain Halais, who led the exhibition matches alongside several high level players invited from Guanacaste and San José. Throughout the afternoon, attendees gathered around the courts to watch the fast paced rallies and enjoy the excitement that builds when experienced players share the court.

Following the exhibition, the courts opened for a casual after play session where guests were invited to step in and rally alongside the pros. Around 25 to 30 people attended throughout the afternoon, creating a welcoming and relaxed environment where both seasoned players and curious newcomers could join in.
